We were there in October, during the off season, so neither breakfast nor the restaurant was operating. We were sent to a café for panini and breakfast, and to a restaurant about a kilometer up the road, though that one wasn’t open every day. There’s no one on site, but an administrator came down after we rang on arrival. The front door was open, so we could go in and put our luggage down while we waited. This is actually a youth hostel, recently renovated by the looks of it, with new, high-quality fixtures and fittings. It’s the best-equipped youth hostel we’ve stayed in, and a great spot for outdoor activities in any season.

Good quality, but there was no heating, and the room was freezing!

Up at the top, with a castle there. A lovely, peaceful place. Definitely worth a visit.

Very clean, with impeccable service, and the location is really good, right at the entrance to the Gressoney Valley. It’s an excellent hostel that almost feels like a 3-star hotel. If there’s one small shortcoming, the breakfast could be more generous. Everything else was perfect, and the prices were exceptional.
