The management needs to be honest. I had a booking through an agent for August 2025. Two days before arriving, an issue came up, so I emailed officially to request cancellation. They replied that they would charge 30% because of the late notice. I accepted and cancelled. When I later asked for a refund, they told me the booking had not been cancelled because it was made through an agent, and that I had to follow the agent’s conditions. I know those conditions. I contacted you and got your promise, so why change your decision after I cancelled?
The location up by the mountains is amazing, with a wonderful view down over Lake Garda. Our apartment was clean and well kept, and the view from it was beautiful. The terrace floor was covered in water, though. I don’t know where it came from, only that it ran from a pipe sticking out from the balcony. That felt dangerous, since someone could slip and twist a leg. The room had terrible coverage, as did the Wi-Fi, perhaps because of the location. The front desk lady was lovely. She explained everything clearly, showed us the area on a map, and was always helpful when we had questions or a problem. It’s a quiet place, far from the centre. You can walk there, but I’d only recommend it if you’re an athlete; a car is better. There’s a children’s playground, swimming pool and ping-pong table. We were satisfied overall and I think I’d return, despite the downsides.
We found everything spotlessly clean on arrival, and the beds were really comfortable. The apartment was spacious enough for our family of four, with easy parking just outside. The interiors feel a little dated but were perfectly adequate. Residence Oasi sits in a beautiful spot above Limone, looking over Lake Garda. Walking down to town is possible, but the way back is quite a climb; driving takes five minutes. Reception were very attentive, and can arrange fresh bread or croissants in the morning if you ask the day before. All in all, a great stay.
The staff member’s thoughtfulness really touched me. The views are lovely, and the staff were kind.
The pool water was the deal breaker. It was filthy, with clumps of hair in it and so cloudy you couldn’t see the bottom. My son got stomach aches because of the pool. That’s especially unfortunate when it’s 35 Celsius and you rely on having a pool. Clean it, and we’d come back. The view was fantastic, the room clean, and the air-conditioning worked really well. The rooms are very cheap. We knew there was no daily cleaning and no sheets, towels, soap or toilet paper, but we would still have returned next year for the view. We won’t now, though I’ll miss it.
