B&B Ventura

The owners were helpful, and the sea views over the square below are superb. The spot is quiet enough to sleep, and the air conditioning units are new and quiet. The room was pretty shabby and breakfast was poor, but it's cheap for Lipari. With those amazing views, it still worked out as a good choice.

Fine for a few days, though the rooms could use some updating.

The harbor and sea views are fantastic, and the location is great. The room's a decent size, but it's quite old, with spring beds that squeak. The bathroom is very small and so is the shower. Breakfast was served at a café right on the harbor, not at the hotel. We paid for it with vouchers.

Claudio was polite and welcomed us during our stay, and the breakfasts were decent. The rest was a letdown. The rooms were run-down and dirty, with stains on the blankets, hair in the sheets, dampness, and poor upkeep. Everything felt outdated. I ended up here out of necessity, since bad weather and other unforeseen problems kept me from booking elsewhere. Calling it a B&B would already be generous. I judge it against what I paid, and if the price had been at least half, which is what I think it was worth, I wouldn't have been so harsh. Thank you.
