Giuseppe made us feel incredibly welcome at his hotel, and even took us to a viewpoint to watch the sunset. His recommendations were spot on. Our clean, picturesque apartment was well organized, with a roof terrace and a beautiful view of the bay. Breakfast was delicious too. Thanks for the flat white and Americano with hot water and milk! Hope to see you again sometime :)

The roof terrace is nice, and the apartment itself is lovely, but it needs some attention. There’s no microwave in the kitchen, the extractor fan is broken or not connected, and the door handle is loose or broken. The shower head is broken and needs replacing. The stairway light was broken too, which felt dangerous at night. The location is nice if you’re in town, but it’s up hills on narrow cobbled and paved streets, so it’s not suitable for people 50+ or anyone with mobility issues. The apartment is up two narrow flights of marble stairs, about 17 steps each.

The large jacuzzi on the roof was a great finishing touch, and breakfast comes in a beautiful dining area with freshly made coffee. The place has everything, with large multi-room accommodation in a quiet neighborhood close to the town centre. The manager and staff are fantastic.

We really enjoyed staying at Guiseppe’s residence in central Lipari. The rooftop solarium feels like a little slice of paradise, and Guiseppe is a great host with a real passion for the island. Thanks, Guiseppe!

The staff at residence Acanto are so friendly, kind, and caring. They helped make the journey easier with good advice and made us feel like we were really on holiday, free to just relax. The place is beautiful and very well kept, and the pleasant smell of flowers follows you along a typical narrow path into a comfortable room with everything you need. There’s also a little oasis up on the roof, with a place to lie down, sunbathe, and take a dip in a nice pool with hydromassage. We felt at home and will certainly be back!
