The beach is especially handy if you're traveling with children, and the sea is beautiful. There are bars and clubs in the evening. To reach the center, just take the local bus, and in five minutes you'll be on Lipari's main street.

After searching for a long time, I booked with Baia Unica. The mini apartments have a kitchen and air conditioning, which isn't always available at other places, and the fantastic Canneto beach is just 20 metres away. There's a free shuttle to and from the port, plus a bar, pizzeria, and Decò supermarket within a two-minute walk. With all that, you can enjoy the sea and shop for cooking without any transport. The bus stop is right on the property's street, though I'd recommend renting a scooter from one of the island's rental shops. The managers are very kind and do everything they can to help. Highly recommended. Our stay was short but fantastic.
