We loved the terrace restaurant, especially the food and the beautiful views. Pippo was a big help arranging our tours, and every staff member we met was part of the family and happy to help. Hotel Filadelfia is a wonderful family-run place on beautiful Lipari, and I’d happily recommend visiting.

The staff were lovely and the hotel was nice, but the rooms felt quite old. It also gets noisy in the neighborhood at night, and for what you get, it seemed expensive.

The thermal indoor pool was wonderful, and having breakfast and dinner on the breezy terrace was a real pleasure. Breakfast was plentiful, with plenty of sweet and savory choices. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the manager tried to quiet down people causing a disturbance. There are some things that could be better. The hotel feels dated, though that seems normal for the area, and many rooms face a street that can be noisy in the evening and late at night. We also had a few issues with towel changes. The package didn’t include a menu option, though I don’t see that as a fault of management. Still, I came away with a positive impression.

Just off the main street, the hotel is in a really convenient spot. The staff were welcoming and always ready to answer questions, and the ladies were especially lovely. We also really enjoyed the chef’s food, with a refined menu and very fresh fish.
