Albergo Villa Diana

We stayed 4 nights and hated having to leave this little paradise in Lipari. The view from our room and the terrace was breathtaking, with the sea, castle, and hills all in sight. The garden is full of colorful plants and trees, and there are a couple of very friendly cats. Our room was large and clean, though fairly basic. Breakfast was very good, with excellent coffee served outside on the terrace. Everyone on staff was friendly and helpful. Thanks to them all for making the stay special. We can't wait to return.

The terrace is the heart of this place, with a view over Lipari and the bay that I could have enjoyed over breakfast forever. I was surprised by how much I loved our stay, and by the end we didn't want to leave. The room was cozy, very clean, and the beds were made daily. I liked the firm mattress. Breakfast was more than I expected in Italy, though for me good coffee and a croissant are enough. The staff member helping us was friendly and very helpful, though unfortunately I can't remember his name. For the price, this was one of the best stays I've had. I'd definitely come back.

We were impressed by how clean the whole place was, with sanitizer machines everywhere. The staff and management were also full of helpful island tips, and the hotel is close to markets, good restaurants, and the Corso Vittorio Emanuele ii with its shops, local souvenirs, and excursion agencies. My wife and I enjoyed every second, from the help when we arrived to the breathtaking view just outside our room and the free shuttle to and from the beach. Breakfast was wonderful, with homemade pastries, fresh fruit, and juices. We were in bliss, or ecstacy, probably both 😁. I'd recommend it and we're already planning another trip back. 🙌🏾🙏🏽

Hotel Villa Diana was the highlight of our Aeolian Islands trip. The views were priceless, and we liked that it was easy to reach but away from noisy streets. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The staff were incredibly helpful and even offered a shuttle. Breakfast was delicious. I'd highly recommend staying here, and I'll definitely come back to explore more of the Aeolian Islands.
