Hotel Motel Ascot

The bed was wonderfully comfortable, and the mattress and pillows made for a particularly good night's sleep. We found the hotel reasonably priced and used it for day trips to Lake Como, Milan, Maranello, and Modena to see the Ferrari and Enzo Ferrari museums. Late-evening check-in was possible, and the staff were very nice. Someone is always at reception to buzz guests in and out. There were a few old-fashioned touches in the room. I hardly ever see a bidet in the European countries I’ve visited, and they also provided a toothbrush and toothpaste, which isn’t common in many EU countries. The room itself was nice. Parking is separated for hotel and motel guests, with plenty of room, and street parking was another option. Breakfast wasn’t a huge spread, but it was good, especially the eggs and bacon. One staff member didn’t speak English, but kindly used her phone to translate and tell us we could ask for fresh eggs and bacon. There’s a restaurant just two minutes away, and its menu is also in the rooms.

A good spot if you have a car, with free parking and an easy route to Maciachini. From there, you can park very cheaply on Milan’s outskirts and get to the metro easily. The hotel was fine, the room was nice, and breakfast had a good selection.

The staff were so kind, the rooms were really clean, and the breakfast was the best ever! Great value for the money. Parking is free, enclosed, and keeps the cars protected. I came all the way from Greece and can’t wait to visit again ❤️

The hotel was very clean and comfortable, but the location is far from ideal. It’s definitely better suited to people with a car, since getting there on foot from the Monza side is almost impossible.
