The dance studio was spacious and comfortable, with AC, mirrors, and good sound, and Elisa and Mauro were lovely, helpful hosts. We were grateful for their help throughout our month at Artemista, where I’m writing on behalf of our group of dancers. The beds were very old and uncomfortable, and several of us regularly woke with back pain. We were also moved between rooms multiple times without that being agreed in advance, which meant packing our things and shifting mid-stay. At least we got to try several beds, though some were worse than others. The shared spaces were often dirty, cluttered, and crowded. The kitchen lacked enough room, equipment, and shelf space, and the bathrooms, rooms, dining hall, and kitchen weren’t cleaned properly. There were no comfortable chairs, and the furniture was cheap and well worn. Noise was another problem. Some nights guests partied or arrived late, and on a few nights a dog next door barked through the night. The location felt boring, with only agricultural fields around, no shops or scenic hikes, and a river too polluted for swimming. We appreciated being able to work in the studio and the hosts’ effort to accommodate us, but we were uncomfortable and found the stay difficult.

The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and well equipped. It’s a beautiful, peaceful place, and the host was very kind. We really enjoyed it! 😊😘😍

The staff were wonderful, and everything was tidy and clean. A lovely place, and I’d like to come back. I stayed for two nights.
