We had a really pleasant stay. The rooms were cozy and clean, the food was delicious, and the surroundings were beautiful and well kept. Our host was friendly and thoughtful. Highly recommend!

After a really hard time, staying at Case Damma felt like a break from everything, and we loved every part of it. Carmelo is kind, funny, and clearly wants his guests to feel comfortable and have a stay they’ll remember. The oranges from his orchard were some of the best I’ve ever tasted. The place has a lovely rural feel, but it’s still only a 15-minute drive from Siracusa and Fontane Beach, so either is close enough for a morning, afternoon, or evening out. Carmelo’s breakfast was very nice, and Stefania was lovely when she served us. We also took a cooking class with Carmelo’s talented, warm mother-in-law Nora. For a VERY reasonable price, we learned to make a four-course Sicilian meal, with starters, primi, secondi, and dessert. It felt like cooking with the Sicilian grandma I never had.

I’ve felt more relaxed here than at any other point in my life! A wonderful family runs the masseria, the organic breakfast was amazing, and the rooms were beautiful. The cats and dogs around the farm were the cutest. I’d come back every year!

A lovely, very clean farm stay. It might feel a bit chilly in winter, but dinner was terrific, with farm products like fresh ricotta, cheeses, sausages, and olive oil. I recommend it.

Mamma mia, we ate more than I ever have in my life! Everything was local and home-cooked. We only came for dinner this time, but next time we’ll stay too. The setting is wonderful, and the family who runs the place is friendly.
