Hotel Silvestri

We've been coming to this hotel every year since 2012, and after the renovation it looks even better than it did before. It's well placed near the centre, with the bus stop just 10 metres uphill. Breakfast and dinner are generous, delicious, and feel luxurious. The staff are always smiling, kind, and ready to help, so I love coming back. Edit 03/2026: Another absolutely luxurious holiday here this year. The food is still perfect, with big portions, and the hotel is simply beautiful :). Mr. F. Silvestri is an amazing person. You can arrange anything with him, nothing is a problem. I'm already looking forward to next year. This doesn't feel like a 3-star hotel, but a 4-star one :) Perfect, perfect, perfect.

Big windows give the restaurant a wonderful view of the landscape, and the prices are good too. It's my favourite place to eat in Livigno. I've tried something new on each visit and everything has been exquisite every time. I totally recommend it.

The cross-country ski area is just across from the hotel, and ski buses and shops are close by too. It's a clean, modern, very nice place, run by a kind and friendly hotelier. Breakfast was lovely and dinner came in generous portions. We'd recommend it and would gladly return!! :)

The food was great, though getting through all four courses took about three hours. Staff were nice, and the ski room was good, although snowboards won't fit. Rooms with a balcony had a nice view, and cleaning was done daily. On the downside, the shower was small and dirty, the TV didn't work in any of the rooms as far as I know, and the walls were paper-thin. There was also no one keeping an eye on the keys at reception.
