Chalet Heidi

We were charged 80€ for cleaning, yet still had to clean the kitchen ourselves. The apartment was poorly furnished apart from the renovated bedrooms. What bothered us most was the cold: it was 16 degrees Celsius when we arrived and had only reached 21 by our seventh day. We were freezing. We asked the landlady several times to fix it, but she said those were normal conditions and that the problem was ours. We were also spoken to rudely. The stay was awful.

The landlady charged us over the chalet windows not being fully washed and the floor not being polished perfectly. After we started arguing, she wanted us out of the building within five minutes. This was such a nightmare that I joked I'd give up skiing and become a monk somewhere far from snow and Chalet Helen. I wouldn't recommend it even to my worst enemy. Sleeping under a tree sounds better.

There were four of us for four nights, and the rooms were very dirty when we arrived. We asked for a change, but the landlord refused. The toilets were dirty from previous visitors and had no toilet paper. The kitchen looks big in the pictures, but it was completely empty, without glasses or cookware. The landlord was very unfriendly and seemed focused only on money. In the end we were blamed for the dirt and weren't given our money back.

The landlady was extremely unsympathetic, and while she charged for everything, she provided almost nothing. It was a genuine nightmare. Avoid this place at all costs.
