Giuseppe is the heart of this lovely hotel. He's always around, making sure things are right and helping people with a genuine smile. Breakfast and dinner were delicious, just what you need before and after sightseeing. Sant’Erasmo is a real gem, a peaceful break from Venice's crowds. We won't forget it.

After a busy visit to the Venice Bienale, we wanted somewhere peaceful. We had a fish dinner, and it was excellent. Breakfast was good and plentiful too.

The host family were incredibly kind and sweet. We had a great stay, with a free drop-off at the ferry and bikes available to rent for exploring the island.

We spent six days here in August, and would happily return. The island and hotel are beautiful, and the staff were amazing, friendly and welcoming. The simple breakfast was delicious, and we could use the bicycles to tour the island. Fresh pizza is available at the front of the hotel, where you can eat overlooking the Venice lagoon. The bugs can be annoying, so bring plenty of mosquito repellent. Venice is 30 minutes away by water taxi.

The island feels like a peaceful paradise, far from the busy 'touristy' islands. We had a wonderful night in a lovely, impeccably clean room. Service was great, especially from the delightful breakfast staff. Breakfast had a nice range of pastries and fruit, plus excellent coffee.
