Loredana, her sons, and the rest of the family made our stay feel special, even taking care of my dietary preferences. My parents loved the meals the chef prepared for them. We were there together over Christmas, and the warmth, kindness, empathy, and values really came through. It's a family-run place with top-notch service. If you visit Loano, la caravella is a great choice. We'll definitely be back!

They even found a garage for me and translated for the mechanic when my motorhome broke down. I would've been stuck without their help. Such lovely, kind people.

I spent a fantastic week at this hotel last July. The food was excellent, better than I'd expect at a hotel with many more stars, and the hospitality was wonderful. The bar service could use some improvement. Hope to see you again in 2021.

Dinner at Hotel CARAVELLA was disappointing from start to finish. The food was very low standard, especially the fish, which I'd avoid. Vegetables and side dishes were overcooked, lukewarm, or straight from a can. Dessert was the only filling part, but it was as tasteless as everything else. No one got food poisoning, though there was some slight nausea. Service was even worse. The waiters didn't seem interested in serving guests. They either stood around chatting and ignoring people or sat inside watching television while diners waited. Maybe we caught them on a bad evening, but if you can, eat somewhere else.
