Il Trullo di Ben

The pool really is all yours, and it's such a peaceful place to unwind, with nearby towns just a short drive away. My wife and I booked Trullo Di Ben for the week before our wedding to relax and de-stress, and couldn't have picked a better spot. Ugo gave us as much privacy as we wanted on quiet days, while also making us feel completely welcome. He picked us up at the airport, took us grocery shopping, and hosted us for a wonderful lunch with his friends over a national holiday. By the end, he'd become more than a host, and I'm glad to call him a friend. Ugo is also a fantastic artist and a wonderful chef. Arrange his 'Pasta by the Pool', and try his beautiful breakfast. We still think about wandering the olive groves while I practiced my wedding speech, reading by the pool, and having wine under the stars. The accommodation is beautiful, the setting is wonderful, and the whole stay has real charm and style. One of the best we've ever had, an absolute 10/10. Ugo, we'll see you again soon!

We spent a full week here and were lucky to have such perfect hosts. The trullo is beautifully presented and very comfortable, and its location makes it easy to reach the stunning villages of the Valle d’Itria as well as the coast by car. There's plenty to see, and seven days barely felt like enough. One day we visited three villages for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, then still had time to relax by the gorgeous pool. The region is picturesque, and the villages take your breath away without being overrun with tourists. We'd highly recommend staying here and hope to return one day.

The spacious outdoor area and big, beautiful pool are lovely, and everything was clean. It's a calm, quiet spot, and you can see the dedication and passion Ugo has put into it. He was the kindest host I've met, helping us with restaurant suggestions and ideas for trips every day. I'd come back when visiting Puglia.
