Trulli Convertini

We’d always dreamed of spending a night in a trullo, and this was just the right choice. It’s cozy and full of charm, tucked into the green hills around Locorotondo. A lovely base for a few days in the Itria Valley.

The owner was wonderful and available whenever we needed her. She’d made sure the trullo was spotless and had all the bed and bath linens ready. There are two trulli, a smaller one and a larger one, both comfortable and well placed, quiet in the countryside but close to the center. The price felt very fair for such good service. Sleeping in a trullo was a beautiful experience and something everyone should try. We’ll be back with friends for sure.

We felt right at home and will definitely come back. The owner was kind and helpful, and the two outdoor areas were lovely and well cared for. We stayed in the smaller trullo, which has two rooms and a bathroom, and it had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. We were there from December 25, 2023, to December 27, 2023. The location suited us too, quiet and away from the crowds but still easy to reach.

We only wish we’d stayed longer. Maria was so friendly and welcoming, and we got to buy some of her own olive oil. Her trullo is a peaceful country retreat, in a handy spot for exploring Puglia and close to the lovely village of Locorotondo. We’d happily recommend it.
