Trulli Sabrina Resort

Great views, a really friendly host, and such a calm, quiet place. Fantastic!

The roads out here are narrow and remote, so a big car could make getting there difficult. Still, we loved our time in this little house and are seriously thinking of coming back for another vacation. Leaving felt a bit sad. The peace is striking. The residence sits among nature on the edge of the village, with only a few houses nearby. There’s often near-total silence, even early in the morning, and the view is breathtaking. We could stretch out alone on the loungers and relax, and the large outdoor patio was welcoming. The pool is lovely, modern, clear, and well maintained. I swam twice. The second time, insects drinking at the surface had slightly disturbed it. Inside, the rustic trullo has been carefully kept up, blending old and new, and it’s well equipped. The spacious, comfortable bed left us room to do our own things. Wi-Fi was excellent, and the whole place felt peaceful.

The garden is enchanting and clearly cared for with love, and the kitchen has all the basics, from olive oil to coffee for breakfast. Sabrina's trullo is a beautiful, quiet gem and immaculately clean. Sabrina and Francesco are attentive, wonderfully welcoming hosts. It’s a lovely base for a relaxing few days and for enjoying the local food, sea, and art. Matera, Otranto, Lecce, Polignano a Mare, Cisternino, and Locorotondo are all easy to visit from here and well worth seeing.
