The landlady was genuinely kind and helpful. It’s more of a vacation rental, so don’t expect many amenities. The place itself is lovely and peaceful, midway between Loiano and Monghidoro, with a 5-10 minute drive to either town.

The owner was such a kind, knowledgeable person, and the price was excellent. The property is peaceful and has a wonderful panoramic setting, perfect for a nature-filled holiday or just a weekend away. It felt like paradise. I’ll definitely come back soon, and would happily recommend it to anyone.

If you’re travelling with children and expect a farmhouse stay, this could be a serious problem. There isn’t even a cot for little ones, and all the beds are singles. The owner doesn’t seem to care. The place is advertised as a farmhouse, but it’s really a holiday home out in the mountains and hills. Bring your own food, there’s no farmhouse here. The roads are so narrow that once we’d made it there, we couldn’t face driving the whole way again.

The woman running this lovely agriturismo was friendly and helpful. It’s tucked into the hills around Bologna, and the accommodations were both attractive and comfortable.
