We had a great time here. From our room, which was on the same level as the restaurant, we could step outside in the morning for a sweet breakfast and a stunning view of Tavolara. There was some noise from the restaurant, so it wasn’t the quietest room, but it worked fine for us. The room was simple and very clean. A second fan would have helped, especially in the smaller room where one of our children slept. The location was just right for us, with a pleasant 10-minute walk to the beautiful beach in front of Tavolara and plenty of other beaches nearby by car. We stayed in early July and had a car.

The terrace view gave us the Sardinian feel we loved, and we had our best time in Sardinia here. Giovanni and Andreana were thoughtful and lovely. Grazie mille 🙏🏻

From this typical Gallura home, the sea is a 10-minute walk away, along a route with horses and sheep. On the way to the wonderful Porto Taverna beach, you can leave the property and take in the view of the flamingos. The terrace overlooking Tavolara is beautiful, and breakfast there was excellent, made with fresh ingredients. The room was simple and comfortable, with an outdoor space. The people running the place were kind and friendly, and it was just right for the few days I spent in Sardinia. The location is very convenient. Next time, I’d like to make time for dinner, since I imagine it’s all delicious.

The owners were so thoughtful that, when we had to leave before breakfast time, they prepared breakfast for us the evening before. That hospitality, along with the plentiful breakfast made from fresh ingredients, really stood out. We spent two nights in Vaccileddi, a quiet, authentic village, and found the B&B clean, welcoming, and well cared for. It has a lovely view of Tavolara Island, especially at sunset, and a path leads from the property straight to Porto Taverna beach, opposite the island. The beaches at Porto Taverna, Cala Brandinchi, and San Teodoro are only a few minutes away by car. It was an excellent value and a great base for exploring this part of Sardinia. Recommended if you want peace, local character, beautiful views, and the island’s family-style hospitality.

The beach is about a 10-minute walk away, and we’ve stayed at La Taerra for the last two years. I hope we’ll keep coming back on future holidays, especially because boarding is so convenient from here. Giovanni and his wife are happy to accommodate requests, and their friendly, sociable child made us feel like we were among friends within a few hours. The rooms are cool and well kept, and breakfast is delicious, especially the moka pot coffee. We also had dinner at the agriturismo, and it’s a magnificent place. Definitely worth staying for a few days.
