The apartment itself was modern, roomy enough for six, and everything was in place and well looked after when we arrived. We had a bedroom, a sofa bed in the living room, and bunk beds in the children's room. The kitchen had all the necessary appliances, plus coffee and dishwashing supplies. The trouble was the other residents. We couldn't really enjoy ourselves at the pool without a group of Italian residents complaining, which was a real letdown on holiday. The staff at the Wonderful Italy office weren't very friendly either, though that was a smaller issue. We came in peak season and found the whole situation unfortunate. If you're hoping for a fun time, this probably isn't the place.

Just beyond Lonato del Garda, this is a calm spot with good apartments, a pleasant garden, and a pool. The apartments have terraces too.

We booked through Booking.com and found our place very dirty, with lots of broken things. The lawn was wet and mossy, and the garden looked neglected. We also viewed an apartment that was for sale, and it was clean and well cared for, so the Booking.com units may not all be the same. The complex itself is very nice, though the pool rules are strict.

The complex looks lovely at first, and apartment C3 does too, but there were a lot of issues during our two-week stay. The kitchen was short on equipment, we had just one bath towel each, and the second bedroom's bed was extremely uncomfortable. The terrace was covered with pigeon droppings every morning, and both the sheets and duvets were dirty. We complained about the bedding and were ignored. We did get replacement frying pans the day after reporting that the old one had started coming apart and we'd eaten Teflon. The apartment also came with a long list of rules. After we put a pool lounger in the garden, we were asked the next day not to leave it there. The pool area is all in full sun, without umbrellas or shade. The place seems to be mostly occupied by owners, and they made us feel like holiday guests weren't welcome. There's also a farm right next door, with a very strong smell several times a day. We won't be back.
