I loved looking out over the valley from this spot in the little white town. The restaurant serves a real taste of what makes the region special. The slow-cooked wild pig with vegetables was my favorite, without a doubt. I'll add this place to my itinerary next time I'm in Nebrodi National Park.

The food at the restaurant was delicious, especially the pasta and ravioli made with fresh ingredients from local farmers, as Leo explained. We finished with sweet ricotta-filled ravioli for dessert, then sampled Leo’s homemade liqueurs. Leo’s partner was very thoughtful and helped with our extra requests. Thank you both! The peaceful setting is surrounded by mountains and nature. It's about 30 minutes from the coast and an 8-minute drive from Longi, the nearest larger village. We were there for a special event friends had invited us to, but this would be a fantastic base for hiking or exploring the mountains. We felt at home from the moment Leo and his partner welcomed us. They were caring, positive hosts who treated us like guests in their home. Leo met us in the parking area, helped with our luggage, and did the same when we left. That kind of hospitality is rare and meant a lot to us. Il Canalotto B&B is surprisingly spacious for somewhere so far from the main tourist routes. The rooms are large, clean, comfortable, and kept in good shape, with charming old-style furnishings. The decor is traditional, and our room was a little dark, but it still felt cozy. We're very grateful for the care Leo and his partner showed us. Wishing you both all the best, and maybe we'll see you again one day!

The food was extremely good, and the owner and all the staff went out of their way to make our stay excellent. It's a beautiful place with stunning views and exceptional service and hospitality. Five stars don't feel like enough. I'd recommend it to anyone.
