Tuscany Villa Chianti Hills

The host, Matteo, was so gracious and helpful that he drove halfway to Rome in the middle of the night to bring us a passport we'd forgotten. His father, a local GP, also cared for my husband when he came down with pneumonia. We spent 10 days there in May 2019, four adults and two children. The villa is charming and very well equipped, with four bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a huge kitchen in the main house. The kitchen, with its fireplace, became our gathering spot, and there was also a lovely apartment below. The grounds are stunning, set among hills overlooking olive groves and vineyards. It's a sumptuous place, just what you'd hope for in a Tuscan villa. We highly recommend it and Matteo, and can't wait to return.

We spent September 2019 at Matteo’s villa, with friends and family coming and going over the month. There was plenty of room for everyone. The setting made it easy to head out to nearby towns and local events, and the views were magnificent. We often used the grill and outdoor dining area, and all the amenities were well looked after. Matteo and his father gave us great support during our stay. I'd highly recommend it to anyone after a true Tuscan villa experience.

We used the house as a base to visit Pisa, Florence, Sienna and the surrounding area, and really enjoyed our stay. The town had what we needed, including groceries we could bring back, and the kitchen was fully supplied. We wanted a taste of life in a small Italian village, and that's what we got. We'd definitely come back.

There's lots of space, a refreshing pool, a nice whirlpool and an amazing view. The villa and garden are clean and well cared for, and the house has real charm. The owner is a friendly, professional host who does everything he can to make your time in Tuscany enjoyable. Highly recommended!
