I slept really well here. The area was very quiet, the bed super comfortable, and the air conditioning kept the big room cool overnight. The bathroom was lovely too. I stayed for three nights, and the hosts were very helpful. Breakfast was tasty, with food from Lucca and Italy. It’s a 5 minute walk from the train station, but I didn’t hear any train noise. I’d 100% recommend Albergo Moderno in Lucca!

The room was clean and very comfortable, and the hotel was great value. Breakfast was simple but good, and the host was friendly and helpful. It’s a fabulous little place near the city walls, just 5 minutes from the railway station, with trains to Pisa and Florence. I’d definitely stay again when visiting Lucca or even Pisa.

The owner was the best part of our stay. He went out of his way to make things comfortable and pleasant, even preparing breakfast packages for our 05.30 departure. The hotel itself is very nice and perfectly placed just outside the city walls, with clean, comfortable rooms. A very positive experience.

Getting to the station is easy, and the center of Lucca is a very short walk away. The rooms were clean, the air conditioning worked really efficiently, and the staff were friendly and great. Fantastic location.
