A bottle of wine was on the table for our arrival, and there was cold still and sparkling water in the fridge too. The apartment has a lovely mountain view and is just a short drive from Lucca’s city center. Our host was incredibly friendly and helpful. I’d happily return if I’m in the area again, and I recommend it.

Just a few minutes from the center, this lovely house has all the amenities and is very fairly priced for its location. We were warmly welcomed in several languages, and they were ready to answer all our questions.

The owner was waiting for me with coffee and wine, then took me to an inexpensive car park near the center. They were so kind. The accommodation itself was spacious, spotless and well equipped, with a fully fitted kitchen. Everything was excellent, and I’d gladly recommend it. Thanks for everything, I had a great stay.

Everything was lovely, apart from the lack of air conditioning in the bedrooms. With temperatures so high at this time of year, that’s an essential thing to be missing.
