Hotel Villa San Michele

We had the whole hotel for three days with our family, which made the stay feel extra special. The staff were so kind, generous, and accommodating from the start, and went out of their way to help with everything. The food was outstanding, and Pascale and his team did a fantastic job throughout. Every detail felt right, and it really was a 5-star experience. We can't thank them enough for making it so memorable, and would recommend it 100% to anyone looking for somewhere special!

The setting is wonderfully peaceful, with beautiful countryside and a well-kept garden. The pool is large and warm, and great for relaxing. We stayed with our children and found it very family-friendly and accommodating. Rooms are spacious and feel like part of a small Tuscan palace. Breakfast under the retractable veranda was lovely, especially in summer. We'd love to come back to this charming retreat.

There was mould under the sink, and you could smell it. We did receive compensation, and the staff were friendly and very accommodating. It could've been a great stay.

The hotel itself is pleasant, with a clean, well-kept pool area and a nice atmosphere. Breakfast was simple but enough. The problem was the room and how the reception handled it. We had booked a 35 sqm room through a third party but were given one around 18 sqm. It wasn't the room itself that bothered us so much as the response. The older man at the desk was dismissive and unfriendly from the start. We calmly explained the issue, but he kept showing us agency emails and insisted we didn't believe him, instead of listening or offering a solution. We didn't feel like customers who deserved support. The woman at reception the next day was much more professional and handled it the way you'd expect from a 4 star hotel. The man's attitude left a lasting bad impression and overshadowed what could have been a pleasant stay. Good facilities can't make up for poor customer service.
