The woman running the guesthouse was flexible about when we arrived and suggested some places to go. The air conditioning cooled the room quickly and worked perfectly. It's exactly 1 km from Lucca's historic center. The rooms are very dated, with furniture that doesn't match, and the place is on the second floor with no elevator, so it won't suit everyone. A simple guesthouse, fine if you just need somewhere for a few nights.

The air conditioning was impossible to set as we wanted, since the remote had to stay outside our room for people in the other rooms to use. Cleanliness was zero, and the place was dilapidated. I stayed from the 19th to the 21st, and the price was high compared with what's normal for B&Bs. In my opinion, this place needs proper cleaning. The owner asks for a huge amount without considering that there should be standards to charge 80 euros per person. Only 20 euros! Shame.

There was mold everywhere, zero cleanliness, and stairs where you had to watch your step or risk falling. The photos, inside and out, look like they date from who knows when. The whole stay was a nightmare. I don't understand the positive reviews.

The photos show only the entrance doors, and I won't show anything else. The door barely opens. Inside, there was dust built up everywhere, insects, and dusty towels in a dresser full of dust. The three rooms were booked for 130 euros per couple, but you need to clean if you're going to host people at that price. I felt safer outside on the street than inside, and was even afraid to go down the stairs. This place is horrible, like a bad horror movie, and should be closed. It's about hygiene, not wanting a beautiful or unique B&B. These conditions could make people ill. We gave up staying and found somewhere else; if we're not refunded for the three rooms, we'll contact NAS. No one should have to sleep in a place like this. Shame on you for asking 130 euros.
