The garden is amazing, and nothing was too much trouble. Our group of four couples fit comfortably in this beautifully restored old villa, which has five bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, and two living areas. It was warm and cozy inside. They even provided wood for the outdoor fire pit. Highly recommend.

I was there for a wedding. The rooms have been beautifully updated with modern features while keeping their rustic charm. Hugo (the dog) is a giant sweetheart, and I mean giant.

It took me over a year of searching, after months of research, to find the right place for my birthday in Tuscany with a few friends. Villa Hugo was worth the wait. We loved spending each night among the calm and nature, with five rooms and a beautiful garden. Lucca's city center is just a few minutes away, so we could enjoy the nightlife as well as the natural setting. Super recommended!

This 13th-century estate has real historic charm, with distinctive accommodations and modern comforts inside. We were taken with the expansive, carefully maintained grounds too. Lucca is conveniently close, and Pisa is only a 30-minute drive; there are also plenty of wineries, restaurants, and attractions nearby. An extraordinary, authentic place for a Tuscan vacation. Highly recommend!

Lucca is just a few minutes away by bike, which made the location ideal. The villa was beautiful and meticulously looked after, and the owner was very helpful. A perfect stay, highly recommended!
