We stayed for two nights in April. Serena was a warm, friendly host, and breakfast was really good, with sweet and savoury options plus homemade cakes 👍. The garden is well kept, and there are bikes available for riding around town. The location is great, though traffic noise from the road out front was the one drawback. I’d recommend it.

Very clean, spacious accommodation and a delicious breakfast. It’s just outside the town walls, and getting into Lucca city centre is easy. The free bicycles make the trip even easier. Highly recommend.

Villa Ricci was perfect for my one night in Lucca. The rate was only about 65€ and I’d give it 5/5. The location just outside the walls made everywhere we wanted to go easy to reach, even on foot. Staff were few in number but competent, polite, and friendly. After checking out, I was still able to use the free bikes and ride on Lucca’s walls. Breakfast was included and had everything we needed, served like a small buffet even though there were only about seven guests.

Such a lovely place, with a beautiful building and gorgeous rooms. There are lots of thoughtful touches that make it feel like more than an average hotel. Service was second to none, and both hosts we met were friendly and went out of their way to help.

Serena was an incredible host, and we loved the property. It had everything we could want, with plenty of Italian charm. It’s a short stroll to the inside of the città wall, so the place is quiet but still convenient. We’d recommend this BnB to anyone visiting Lucca. A special thanks to Serena for arranging a comfortable private transfer from Pisa Airport for us at the last minute.
