10/10
The piazza gets lively with families in the evening, so there can be some noise. The owner supplied earplugs, and the heavy wooden shutters helped us sleep well. I also appreciated the reasonable single-person rate and daily room cleaning. The room was spotless and beautifully furnished, and the palace accommodation exceeded what I expected. The host was delightful, and breakfast was outstanding, with fresh fruit, bruschetta, eggs, croissants, and even homemade cake. Staying in such a fine historic place right in the heart of Lucera felt like a real privilege. Outstanding service and a wonderful stay.

We spent two nights here and would happily book again. The owners were far more helpful than we expected, especially with sorting out parking for my car. I appreciated that they understood English, since I can’t speak Italian. Breakfast was fantastic, and Lucera felt so friendly and welcoming. Five stars from us.

The owner was kind, gave clear directions, and was helpful throughout. The location is very convenient, and the rooms are huge. It’s an old building with a romantic feel.
