The room was comfortable, and the hosts were very friendly and knew the area well. It’s a lovely B&B with classic architecture, right in the historic center of the town my family called home before immigrating to America. ❤️

The quiet courtyard, where breakfast is served beneath a pomegranate tree, was a lovely place to linger. Le Foglie di Acanto has real character: a local family spent more than two decades lovingly restoring this unique palazzo with preservation in mind. Artfully chosen objects and beautiful locally made textiles add to its charm, and the rooms are impeccably clean. The hosts are delightful, and their restaurant and gelato tips are worth following. There’s strong Wi-Fi in the rooms, though stepping inside can make you feel as if you’ve slipped into another era, away from the demands of modern life. If you prefer locally run places with a distinctive feel to generic accommodation for mass tourism, you’ll be enchanted.

After a long trip in the heat, we were so glad to find fruit and a stylish carafe of water waiting in our room. The hosts were absolutely charming, and the beautiful place is in a very convenient location. We really appreciated that thoughtful touch.

Breakfast in the garden was a highlight, with homemade jams, authentic products, and a relaxed start to the day. Antonio welcomed us so warmly and was always available, making us feel at home right away. We had a wonderful stay in this lovely B&B. Its historic character and careful details made it feel like stepping back in time. We’d wholeheartedly recommend it and hope to come back soon.
