B&B L' Angolino

The room was modern, but there wasn't enough soap for everyone or any coffee. The remote had dead batteries too. They could do more 😉

We were there for the weekend with my husband and our 11-month-old son. The rooms were lovely, new, and spotless, and the bathroom had everything equipped. At check-in we met the cleaning lady, but after that we left everything at checkout without seeing anyone else. If there'd been a problem or emergency, nobody was on site and we'd have had to call the owners. They were very kind and let us check out late for a small cash fee. The place is on the first floor, with an elevator, and parking is on the street. We had to drive to the beach and dinner because it's quite a walk.

I never got to see the rooms. We booked through an agency, arrived on Sunday evening, called and rang the bell several times, and no one answered. We ended up having to find somewhere else to stay. That’s simply not acceptable.

The owner kindly stayed available for our late arrival after we let them know in advance. Our Glicine room was tiny, with no space for a chair or desk, though it was spotless and had a comfortable bed and bathroom. Outside noise was blocked very well, but sounds carried between rooms. Breakfast in the shared room had a decent range, though the croissant was the only fresh item, and the automatic coffee was really poor. The place is right in the center of Montesilvano. I’d recommend it for a night or two, at most.
