Relais Villa Porta

Our guests still talk about how welcome they felt, the atmosphere, and the service at our wedding. The venue is breathtaking, but it’s the people who made Villa Porta unforgettable. From the start of planning, every staff member was warm, professional, and attentive. They anticipated what we needed and handled all the details so smoothly that the day felt effortless and magical. Leilani, Giulia, and Giulietta deserve a special mention. Their kindness, quick responses, and care with the details made a real difference, turning what could have been stressful destination planning into a joyful, memorable experience. We chose Villa Porta for our September wedding and already knew it was special, but it still surpassed our expectations. Planning felt easy and joyful, and the celebration was incredibly special. Lake Maggiore, especially Luino, is one of the most beautiful places we’ve experienced. The lake’s peaceful elegance, the town’s charm, and the natural beauty make it a perfect setting for a once in a lifetime celebration. It’s a hidden gem that deserves more love and recognition. Villa Porta will always mean a lot to us. We can’t wait to return and celebrate our anniversary there.

The gardens are worth taking time to enjoy, and make a dinner reservation. The massage team, especially Simona, is incredible, while the front desk and breakfast staff are delightful. The road right next to the place is very loud. The room split AC doesn’t work very well, and the WiFi is terrible for connectivity. We had to use cell service while we were there, which is never our preference.

We went there for a wedding and had an incredibly memorable weekend. The place is absolutely stunning. We didn’t stay overnight, though we wish we had.

A beautiful, family friendly hotel and a great stop on our trip from Zurich to Liguria. The food was good, and it has great access to the lake. Rooms can be a little small, so ask ahead if you’re bringing lots of luggage.
