You can head straight out on a hike from the hotel, and even though it’s high up on the mountain, it’s easy to get to by car or public transport. The host was really friendly and helped whenever we needed anything.

The scenery was extraordinary, especially when we got to enjoy it from inside the sauna. We also loved taking the e-mountain bikes around the area. Hospitality was exemplary, and we felt pampered the whole stay. The food was exceptional too. We had the most delicious corn soup and steak with rocket and tomatoes. Can’t recommend the experience highly enough!

The restaurant food was very high quality, and the host was friendly. We also enjoyed using the provided e-bikes to explore the beautiful area near the hotel. It’s in a beautiful spot with outstanding scenery. A minibar and a tea kettle or coffee maker would make the stay more comfortable. Even budget hotels often have these, and at an upscale place like this I’d expect them as standard. Some eggs at breakfast would be nice too. Those couple of things kept me from giving five stars.

Check-in was slow, and when I got to the room it wasn’t ready and had no towels. There were no toilet amenities either. In a four-star hotel I expect the basic comforts to be in place. There was nowhere to hang suits, and the temperature control only seemed to offer cooling, even in autumn. I hope they improve these things soon.
