Casetta Al Centro Storico

It’s right in central Macerata and the price was good, but a few basic things were missing. There was no mini-fridge for the medication we needed to store, no breakfast, and not even a vending machine for morning coffee. The bathroom didn’t have hand soap or some other simple toiletries, and since it was shared by three other rooms, it wasn’t as clean as it should’ve been. The hairdryer couldn’t be used because it was missing the adapter for the room outlet. I also asked for a sheet of paper, but there wasn’t one available. The “LEAVE ME AS YOU WANT TO FIND ME!” sign felt especially out of place given the shared bathroom’s cleanliness. Just small details, but I think they would’ve made a real difference.

The building has historic character, the location is excellent, and everything was spotless. The bathroom is outside the room and a long way from it, though it sits next to the other rooms. Its size and hygiene were inadequate, and the extractor fan wasn’t working, which caused problems. I’d suggest adding a refrigerator to the room.
