What really made this hotel for us was the service. The woman at reception was so kind and helpful, sorting out parking and explaining the beach nearby. Two sunbeds and an umbrella cost €20 a day, and it was only a few hundred metres away. When we were leaving, a man I think was her son helped us get Mirabilandia tickets for €30 each, instead of the €80 online price. Breakfast had a great spread, including honey straight from the comb at a local bee farm, mini muffins and sandwiches, eggs and bacon, granola, cereal, coffee and cappuccino, toast, jams, little cakes and more. Our room was small, but it had what we needed: a king bed, plus an extra single we hadn't asked for but might be useful next time. The balcony could fit four or five people. The bathroom was cramped and had no shelf space, though it was clean, and the shower pressure was fantastic even on the second floor, or third if you count the ground floor as the first. The air conditioning worked perfectly, and the bed and pillows were comfortable. Everything went beyond what we expected, and I'd definitely recommend staying here.

We're back at Hotel Mirage for a second visit because our first holiday here was as good as we could have hoped for. The owners are friendly and keep finding ways to make guests feel at home, and the hotel and staff are welcoming to children. The beds are comfortable, and the rooms get a thorough clean every day, which helps with all the sand from the beach. It's just a few minutes on foot, and the sunbeds they offer are worth the money. If you're after a decent, comfortable hotel run by a lovely family, where the kids can play, Hotel Mirage is a good fit.
