Staying in this historic house felt special. The rooms are spacious and tastefully furnished, with modern, functional bathrooms, while many period details remain. The residence has been beautifully restored without losing its original structure. Management is professional and very attentive to guests. Highly recommended.

The owner kindly picked me up from the station. The old building has spacious rooms, a nice garden, and breakfast is included. There's a good restaurant only a few metres away. For guided tours of the nearby historic sites, contact esedra, they offer tours that are both inexpensive and really good.

We came to see the Nuraghe Towers and archaeological sites and ended up hearing lots of stories about old Macomer from our very nice host Caterina. This feels like a genuinely local town, not a touristy spot. The historic old town building even has a hidden wine room with a historic Knights Templar doorway from the 1500s. We shared a bottle of her husband's wine with us.

The rooms have a gorgeous old-fashioned feel, and the bathroom had a jacuzzi shower. The only downside I could find was the substandard hairdryer.

The Nuragic monuments are close by, and the location is excellent. The rooms are beautifully decorated, and the people are great.
