We didn’t stay at the hotel, but had a fantastic meal at the Capriolo Restaurant. There were lots of tasty choices on the menu, and everything was fresh. The mountain-style dishes were full of flavor, beautifully prepared, and served in very generous portions. A ristorante in Madesimo I’d highly recommend!

We lost something up the mountain, and the owner got all his friends involved in helping us look for it. Such nice people, and the food was good too. What a lovely place, with one of the best restaurants in the village :-)

I especially recommend the Capriolo restaurant for dinner. Its local dishes are always fresh and tasty, and the mountain-restaurant atmosphere has a slightly classier feel. It’s one of my favorite places in Madesimo. There aren’t many tables, so book ahead in high season.

We’ve been a couple of times during this trip, and I think this might be our favorite bar. The kids really enjoyed it, and the service was excellent. Food and wine were both good and very reasonably priced. I can wholeheartedly recommend the goulash, it was superb.
