Camping Villaggio Cerquestra

It’s a peaceful, quiet campsite in a handy spot for exploring all around the lake. The staff are very helpful, and the children’s entertainers are great. I recommend it if you’re looking to relax and discover Umbria.

We had a new bungalow with good furniture and a fairly large room. The place was clean and had lots of services, though the walk to the beach access was a little long from our bungalow. You’ll need a car to get around the area. The receptionist was really kind and helped us find a suitable trekking trip.

We’ll definitely come back. This place is one of the most underrated spots I’ve visited, and it has everything you need. The campsite has a great lake view, large pitches for bigger campers, and good washer and dryer facilities. The sanitary areas were always clean and up to date. Staff were professional and friendly. The pizza was great, but we had to wait a long time for two pizzas. The restaurant could improve the wait times.

The Zumba dance was the highlight for me, you can really go wild, and the water polo was great too. There’s also lots of amazing wildlife. The lake can smell sometimes when the wind is coming from the wrong direction. I’d move the ping-pong table somewhere more central, perhaps by the pool. The campsite may look a bit dirty at first, but once you get used to it, it’s really good.
