We booked a room without expecting much while visiting Lake Trasimeno. It turned out to be wonderful: a spacious room, friendly people, breakfast included, and an outdoor pool.

The price was good, and the little pool and lake views were nice. The room was let down by the air conditioning, though. It just wasn't strong enough to keep things cool in August.

The room we got was right above reception, with a balcony looking over the car park. It looked and smelled like a 1970s hostel. We were offered a small upgrade that was only a little better. Then we tried the air conditioning: it was so noisy we had to raise our voices to talk, and it never cooled the room. One of the bulbs was missing from the light directly above the children's mezzanine beds, leaving live mains voltage exposed when switched on. I have pictures. We raised our concerns and didn't want to stay a second night. The hotel staff just shrugged and refused to refund that night. I'm writing to warn other people, especially families. I found the hotel's quality very poor, to the point that it was dangerous to health and life. The worst hotel I've ever stayed in. Please avoid it at all costs!

It's a nice place by the lake, with trees around it and a nice pool. But the air conditioning wasn't working, and we had to use wet rags to bring down the heat in the room. With a 6-year-old sweating all night, we were trying to keep cool and comfortable. We told management, but they pretty much ignored us and did nothing. Unfortunately, we checked in late, and by then it was far too late to look for somewhere else.

The room was comfortable, clean, and quiet, though there was no bathroom mat. The place is easy enough to reach, and the staff are very polite. The village has a small pool, a meditation park, and basketball and tennis courts. There's Wi-Fi and air conditioning in the room if you prefer.
