B&B La Gazza Ladra

We’ve stayed at La Gazza for a few years, and whenever we need a place, Adriano and his wife welcome us with so much care. It sits between Carmiano and Magliano in a wonderfully quiet area. There’s no car or horn noise, just nature and a lovely garden with pine trees. The B&B has three rooms, each with air conditioning and a private bathroom. We rent the largest room, which has a very big shower, handy when you’re traveling with children. At the back there’s a room with a small kitchen, microwave, coffee maker, and refrigerator, where we have breakfast each morning. There are local treats, fresh seasonal fruit, cream-filled doughnuts, croissants, and pastries. Adriano really caters to everyone, too, with yogurt, fruit juice, wafers, snacks, and chocolates on the table. A holiday is always lovely, but where you stay really does make a difference, and we never want to leave. Until next time, my dears. Keep up the good work! I love you!

The setting makes it easy to unwind: it's quiet and surrounded by nature, though Lecce and the beach resorts are only a few kilometers away. Families have room to spread out in the large fenced courtyard, and the shared kitchen has what you need for breakfast or other meals, including a microwave, stove, refrigerator, and outdoor fireplace. Breakfast was generous for each family, with fresh fruit always on hand. Our room was well kept, cleaned each morning with fresh linens, and had its own bathroom with a shower, TV, air conditioning, refrigerator, and safe. The B&B is welcoming, and the staff are genuinely helpful and available when needed. I come back every year.

We were there in December with our child and little dog, and the heating made the stay comfortable in winter. The place felt calm, clean, and surrounded by nature. In the mornings there were croissants and fresh seasonal fruit, and on Sunday we were brought local pastries. The welcome was so warm that we felt like family and right at home. Such a lovely place, we hope to come back soon!
