B&B La Boscara

The hosts were so friendly and helpful, and the view is fabulous. Such a lovely place, really worth a visit!

The donkeys and cats kept both the adults and kids company, which was lovely. It’s a relaxing, clean place and easy to reach, with walks and nature trips or castles nearby. Itamar and Raffaella are wonderful hosts who know the area well. We had a great stay and will be back soon.

The hosts suggested interesting routes every day, with plenty to see in the landscape and local culture. We also enjoyed quiet chats under the garden trees. Itamar and Raffaella welcomed us so warmly, and Itamar had a different batch of generous homemade sweets for us each morning. Nemo, their little dog, waited eagerly outside our door each morning and made the stay even nicer. Ginevra and Pinocchio, the two donkeys at la boscara, seemed keen for us to visit, especially if we brought them something to eat. The kittens greeted us too when we returned from our walks, especially in the evenings as we sat on the steps. We felt very welcome and hope to come back soon.

After a week by the sea, I was looking for a bit of peace and quiet, and found it here. The room was just right, and there was a lovely spot for relaxing and reading. Breakfast was delicious and generous. It’s a simple but truly lovely B&B with all the comforts I expected. The owners were kind and very helpful. I’d happily return, and recommend it to anyone visiting San Leo or San Marino, or just wanting a few quiet days.
