Hotel Sole Splendid

The staff were friendly, but I can't recommend this place. The rooms felt very old, weren't very big, and had mold in the bathroom. The supposed air conditioner was basically a fan with an on/off switch, and the elevators were tiny and ancient. This isn't a four-star hotel to me, two stars at most. Breakfast was a letdown too. The eggs were almost inedible, there were very few choices, and even those weren't tasty. It's extremely expensive for what you get. The private beach costs extra, at least 30-45€. It felt like a tourist trap, and we won't be back anytime soon.

We had a wonderful view of the coast from our room, so I'd recommend booking one at the front. The hotel's in a great spot right by the beach, and you can reserve umbrella seats there through the hotel. Breakfast was excellent, and there's parking on site if you're traveling by car. The staff were always helpful and kind, especially the young woman at reception, who was ready to answer questions or lend a hand. I'll definitely stay here again when I'm back on the coast.

At the edge of the quiet resort village of Majori, the hotel suited us well. We had a standard double room with a partial sea view, a nice terrace, and a comfortable bathroom. It also had a TV, minibar, and air conditioning. Breakfast was good, with quality food. The room was cleaned every day, towels were replaced, and soap and shower gel were topped up. Reception was kind too. I asked for an extra blanket and got it right away. The odd part was having only disposable cups in the room, though that seems to be common in Italian hotels.

The room views were great, the location and aspect were lovely, and the staff were kind. Breakfast was excellent. Our one frustration was the brand-new hire car. We let the man park it after he insisted, and he dented the side of the van. It was disappointing and cost us money. My advice is to park your own car.
