La Dolce Vita Residence

We had a terrible stay. The 115 steps to reach the apartment were a shock, and once inside we found ants in several corners. Reception was actually a travel agency 1-2 km away in town. With slow Wi-Fi and phone service, we couldn’t reach them. After an hour with no reply, we climbed all 115 steps again, got in the car and drove there. We asked for another room or at least a review of the total fees given the circumstances. They said ants were normal in that area, and claimed some information might be hidden because we booked through a booking app. They said booking directly on their website would have made us aware, but there was no mention there of ants or bad Wi-Fi. We were then told to contact the booking website for a refund, but would have to leave immediately. Where were we supposed to go with one child and two elderly people? I spent hours chatting with the booking app and explained the problem to four different people, but the poor connection dropped each chat, so I gave up. We had no choice but to stay three more days with the ants, spraying chemical stuff around the room. There wasn't even a kitchen towel to wipe our hands, but there was ant spray. When we left, we found ants in our car too and had to stop and clean everything out. The lights in the room also kept cutting in and out, as did the air conditioning. We'll never return.

The owners were so nice, and the private beach was adorable. What an amazing stay at a gorgeous residence!

The staff made our stay so enjoyable. Everyone we met, from check-in to the cleaning team, was lovely and eager to help, and went above and beyond. At "Dolce Vida", the rooms were exceptionally clean and very comfortable. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting, and would send my family and friends there. I’ll definitely return. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. My daughters didn’t want to leave.

The apartments were modern, lovely and well cared for, with beautiful balcony views. Ours was clean when we arrived, and the lovely cleaners came several times to clean and replace the towels. A lovely experience.
