The meal was such a lovely surprise, especially after we arrived to find the booking person hadn't let them know we were coming. The owner and his assistant welcomed us warmly and showed us incredible hospitality. We booked through booking dot com, but don't use the eir code on their site. Enter Hotel Belvedere instead and you won't be sorry. We also got to try their homemade Ouzo, and were even given a bottle to take home. Take a walk through the village too. I hope we get back, even just to say hello to the charming people who made us feel so welcome.

The calm, peaceful setting makes this a place where you can really rest and enjoy yourself. There's nowhere else in the area that catches the eye and makes you want to slow down like this hidden gem in its beautiful surroundings. Chris and his wonderful wife make sure everything is in order, and the breakfasts and views are lovely. The Albergo diffuso project is a wonderful idea, and I'm looking forward to seeing how it expands. Lots of love from joanna and renata (NL,PL)🩵. I really hope to come back!

Neither the shower nor the toilet worked. It was the worst experience I've ever had at a "hostel".

The food is authentic, and the ravioli and other dishes were amazing. The house white wine was the only letdown. Maybe a bottled wine would be better.
