Appartamenti Tasel

We stayed 11 nights with friends and loved how peaceful it was. There are only 5 apartments, and the owners are friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The lake and mountain views are breathtaking, with olive trees all around, and it’s a lovely spot to unwind. The pictures don’t quite capture it: everything is modern, very clean, and well maintained. Our place had what we needed, from a kettle to a toastie maker; the shower was hot and powerful, and the window insect screens were very welcome. There was a little private garden with a table and chairs, sun loungers, and a big umbrella. The pool area was spotless, had plenty of loungers, and those outstanding views too. The town at the bottom of the road has shops, restaurants, cobbled streets, a supermarket, and a harbour with boats to other towns across the lake. But you’ll want a car or bike. The apartments are up a long, very winding road. There is a bus, though it’s not always on time, so get to the stop early, and the last one is at 6.30pm. Taxis can be hard to get. Fantastic location if you have a car or bike. I’d definitely come again!
