We had such a lovely holiday, and the owners were generous and very helpful. I can only recommend this place if you want quiet, super-friendly accommodation as a base for hiking, skiing or mountain biking in the wonderful nature of Vinschgau.

Café Brigitte in the building was a particular highlight, with delicious homemade cakes and lovely outdoor seating. We felt completely at ease and can’t praise our stay enough. We spent two weeks there in September in one of the beautiful holiday apartments, and loved the charming decor and thoughtful, lovely furnishings. It felt like home. The service was great too. The apartment was cleaned and the towels changed regularly. The owners were always available and glad to help, sharing tips for tours and other activities as well as maps for hiking and cycling. We’ll definitely be back!

Burgeis has a genuine village feel, with historic homes and farm buildings alongside welcoming apartment buildings and hotels. It’s well connected to the Offis railway network and close to ski and hiking areas.

The hosts are friendly, and there’s an electric car charging station if you need one. The whole place feels harmonious and is decorated with care. There are so many corners to explore, and the style is high-quality without being kitschy.
