I left feeling incredibly grateful for the whole experience. The food, service, and atmosphere all deserve five stars.

Even though we arrived very late and hadn’t booked, they found us a table. We ordered two pasta dishes and both were delicious. My wine was excellent, and the whole meal was very affordable. Everyone was kind, and we’d definitely recommend the restaurant.

The menu looked nice, though pizza seemed to be what most people were ordering. Since we were in the Sudtirol, my wife chose Wiener schnitzel, and we were surprised to see it come from a deep fryer. Our red wine bottle arrived ice cold, so we asked to exchange it for one at room temperature. It took us a while to place our drink order, as the restaurant was busy and seemed a little understaffed. It’s a very large place, and the meal felt somewhere between fast food and fine dining. Nothing was bad, but it wasn’t a great experience or quite what we expected. Dogs were allowed in the dining room, as in many restaurants around there, and one was literally right beside us.

The pizzas are really delicious and fairly priced, and the restaurant service is great. The girls were wonderful and the patron was very sympathetic. I can’t comment on the rooms since I stay with friends in Laatsch. The area around Laatsch/Mals/Burgeis is magnificent.
