Su per i Coppi

We chose the cheapest place we could find in Manarola, so our expectations were low, and it was pretty much what we expected. The location is the second last building in town, which made the climb up tough. Inside, the bathroom was small, the mattress was extremely soft, and the air conditioning didn't work. There was a replacement unit, but it was so loud we couldn't sleep. We'd probably still book again, since we didn't want to pay more than >400€ per night for somewhere else in Cinque Terre.

Getting there takes about 5-10 minutes on foot from the train station, all uphill, and I initially had a little trouble finding the front entrance. It's roughly a minute past the church on your left, across a stone bridge. Once there, I found the location very close to anything you'd want to do in Manarola. My room, number 2, had no view from the window, but it was clean and had all the basics: towels, good AC/heater, coffee machine, and excellent WIFI. The host responded quickly, and I'd stay here again in Manarola.

The host met us at the train station and was really helpful. The room only had the basics, but they went out of their way to bring us anything we asked for, including a kettle and tea. It's a little out of the way, away from the center of crazy town, yet very close to the only two restaurants in Manarola worth eating at. A pleasant stay.

The room was lovely and had a balcony, though there was no view. I'd still highly recommend it.
