Agriturismo Poggio Monte

The staff were lovely, and Matt and Dominica were especially helpful and generous. Thanks to them, our stay was even more enjoyable. We only had two nights at this gem in the quieter Tuscan countryside, but I’d book longer next time. The rooms were simple and pleasant, the mattresses made for good sleep, the view was stunning, and it was so peaceful. We hope to return soon for a longer, less rushed stay, and this time with a car.

We especially loved unwinding by the pool and taking in that lovely Tuscan countryside view. The green room was comfortable and really nice, and Matthew and the staff made us feel so welcome. My husband Joe, our younger daughter, and I had a great stay here. Thanks for having us, we’ll come back!

The breakfast had a nice range of sweet and savory things, and you can get online near the main building if you need to. What stays with me most is the setting: olive trees and lavender all around, with their scent in the air and a beautiful valley view from the pool. It’s such a peaceful place, surrounded by the beauty and energy of nature. One of the loveliest, most relaxing places I’ve stayed. I’d definitely return.

There’s a swimming pool and beautiful views, with fresh air all around. The food is prepared here using produce from their own completely organic garden. It’s a lovely place to spend time close to nature while still having modern facilities. There’s a hot spring nearby for a bit of rejuvenation, and you can also practice yoga with a trained traditional yoga teacher.
