Don't book here. We reserved two nights through Booking.com, but the host didn't reply to any of our messages or emails, even starting the day before we were due. At the bar across the road, they told us two other groups had already gone through the same thing.

The landlady was kind and helpful, and the apartment has a very distinctive feel. It can sleep four, though the fabric divider between the sleeping areas offers no privacy. There isn't much room for belongings, and the tiny kitchen is tucked inside a cupboard. Fine for a few nights.

We'd booked the apartment for one night, but nobody answered the door when we arrived at 8:30 in the evening. We rang again and again, called, and sent texts, with no response, so we had to find another hotel. No one showed up. The place was closed. It felt like a scam.

The town is pretty quiet, but the owner was very friendly and helpful. The decor is striking, and the accommodation feels genuinely unique.

Straightforward and friendly, with a perfect balance of quality and price.
